What is Art-Craft's AERO Aviation TechnologyTM Rx program?
Available nowhere else on the market, Art-Craft's prescription lenses are equipped with our proprietary, American-made AERO Aviation lens technology developed specifically for pilots and aviation enthusiasts.
Designed exclusively for use in Art-Craft's AERO Aviation frames, our Digital HD prescription lenses — made from lightweight, scratch- and impact-resistant polycarbonate — enhance visibility at high altitudes while providing the optimal definition, contrast, and color recognition necessary to balance exterior and interior lighting environments.

What's included in the AERO Aviation Rx lens package?
Every pair of AERO Aviation sunglasses purchased with prescription lenses includes:
- Lightweight, scratch- and impact-resistant polycarbonate lenses — available in AERO Silver or AERO Blue — equipped with your custom prescription
- Our proprietary lens coatings, which provide optimal comfort and an unparalleled visual experience at any altitude
- The "Art-Craft Aviation" logo etched onto each left lens as a mark of authenticity
- Branded hard case and microfiber cleaning cloth

How do I order AERO Aviation Rx lenses?
Art-Craft's AERO Aviation sunglasses and prescription lenses are available only at artcraftsunglasses.com. Simply choose your frame style and lens color, select "Add Prescription Lenses," then fill in your prescription information and upload a current copy of your prescription.
Please note: Your prescription must be issued and signed by a licensed optometrist or ophthalmologist within the past 24 months.
Can I purchase AERO Aviation Rx lenses by themselves, for use in my sunglass frames?
No. Our prescription lenses are specifically designed for use in Art-Craft's AERO Aviation frames.
Do you offer photochromatic or polarized options for your AERO Aviation Rx lenses?
No. Photochromatic (light-responsive) and polarized lens options are not available.
Are there prescription restrictions that can't be produced in AERO Aviation Rx lenses?
Yes, some prescriptions may not be available in AERO Aviation prescription lenses due to a combination of frame size, pupillary distance, and prescription strength. Our Digital HD polycarbonate lenses can be customized for prescriptions with a power range of +/- 6.00 and a -3.00 cylinder.
What is the warranty included with AERO Aviation Rx lenses?
Every prescription lens produced by Art-Craft Optical is warranted to meet and exceed all global standards for prescription lenses.
- AERO Aviation Technology™ lenses are guaranteed against defects in the material and workmanship for 12 months from the date of original purchase. This warranty does not cover damage caused by accidents, improper care, or normal wear and tear.
- All Art-Craft coatings are warranted against cracking, peeling, or crazing for 12 months from the date of original purchase. The replacement lenses must be of the same prescription and material as the original. Art-Craft does not warrant against scratches.

Does Art-Craft accept vision insurance?
We don't process prescription insurance claims. However, AERO Aviation Rx eyewear may be eligible for out-of-network reimbursement or purchased using a flexible spending account (FSA) or a health savings account (HSA). Contact your insurance provider to confirm your eligibility and benefits before making a purchase.
How long will it take to receive my order?
AERO Aviation sunglasses equipped with prescription lenses are generally processed and shipped within 10–15 working days.
Is there a shipping charge?
No — all AERO Aviation sunglasses include free shipping via UPS 2nd Day Air®!
How do I send you my prescription?
As part of the process of selecting your lenses, you'll be prompted to upload your current prescription (issued within the past 24 months) and enter your information manually.
Can I return or exchange my AERO Aviation sunglasses with prescription lenses?
Prescription lenses are nonrefundable. Please report any issues related to your prescription lenses within 30 days of receipt to Art-Craft's Customer Service team at CSD@artcraftoptical.com.
Please note:
- If you do not adapt to your Digital HD prescription lenses within 90 days, Art-Craft will replace the original prescription lenses with a set of standard single vision or standard progressive prescription lenses in the same frame (including the same lens color).
- Lenses will be remade at a 50% discount if the original prescription lens was made within 90 days. No changes from the original frame, lens color, or lens style will be permitted.
- Changes to your prescription lens order can be made if the lenses are not already in process. Canceled jobs and duplicate jobs will be billed at 50% of the quoted price.
Can I change or cancel my AERO Aviation Rx order after it's been placed?
It isn't possible to change or cancel your custom order, since we begin processing your order immediately after you complete your purchase.
