Art-Craft Sun Limited Warranty

As the oldest family-owned and continuously operating eyewear manufacturer in the U.S., Art-Craft Optical has been producing eyewear for more than 100 years.

We stand behind the precision quality of every pair of sunglasses we deliver — which is why we offer a limited warranty on all Art-Craft sunglasses.


What's covered?

Any sunglasses purchased on ArtCraftSunglasses.com or from an authorized Art-Craft dealer.

What do your warranties cover?

Lifetime Limited Warranty on Sunglass Frames

Art-Craft will repair or replace any broken solder joint on our metal frame sunwear throughout the lifetime of the product. The defective frame must be returned along with proof of purchase.

24-Month Limited Warranty on Art-Craft Sun and AERO Aviation Technology™ Frames and Lenses

For claims made outside of our Lifetime Limited Warranty, Art-Craft additionally warrants its sunwear (excluding AERO Aviation Technology™ lenses) against breakage that may be caused by defects in manufacturing or workmanship for 24 months from the date of consumer purchase. Art-Craft will repair or replace any such sunglasses with an identical or equivalent style, at our discretion, without charge during that period.

12-Month Limited Warranty on AERO Aviation Technology™ Rx Lenses

AERO Aviation Technology™ prescription lenses are guaranteed against defects in the material and workmanship for 12 months from the date of original purchase. This warranty does not cover damage caused by accidents, improper care, or normal wear and tear. 

All Art-Craft coatings are warranted against cracking, peeling, or crazing for 12 months from the date of original purchase. The replacement lenses must be of the same prescription and material as the original. Art-Craft does not warrant against scratches.

Are there any exclusions?

Art-Craft's limited warranty program does not cover:

  • Normal use that results in scratched frames or lenses
  • Temple tips
  • Nose pads
  • Accidental breakage
  • Improper or misuse of sunglasses
  • Lost, stolen, or dropped sunglasses, or any damage caused by unreasonable use
  • Repairs or services performed by anyone other than an authorized Art-Craft Optical technician


How do I request a warranty service?

Email CSD@artcraftoptical.com with the subject line "Warranty Service Request." Our Customer Service team will reply to your email and outline your next steps.

Please note: The cost of shipping your sunglasses for service is the sole responsibility of the sender. We recommend using a shipping service with parcel tracking, as Art-Craft Optical is not responsible for any theft or loss during transit.
